GDEM - SRTM COMPARISON

Note: The code contains script which may be blocked by default and the user asked permission to allow.

The location is Mindanao, Philippines. The rollout image is from 1" ASTER GDEMv2 data. Move the mouse onto and away from the image to switch to and from the rollover image, which is SRTM 3". Almost all the apparent extra detail in the ASTER GDEM image are fictional artifacts, which include spikes up to 200 metres high.
