GDEM - VIEWFINDER COMPARISON

The location is the Torres del Paine in Chilean Patagonia. The towers can be seem on the right. The rollout image is from 1" ASTER GDEMv2 data, which makes little attempt to map these towers. SRTM makes even less attempt. Move the mouse onto and away from the image to switch to and from the rollover image, which is from the DEM data on this site.
